LDRP RN
Position Summary
We are seeking an LDRP Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care to laboring, delivering, postpartum, and recovery patients. The RN will monitor maternal and fetal conditions, assist with deliveries, administer medications and treatments, and support patients and families throughout the birthing process.
Responsibilities
Assess and monitor maternal and fetal health throughout labor and delivery.
Monitor fetal heart rate, contractions, vital signs, and patient response.
Provide care during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum periods.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
Assist physicians and other healthcare providers during deliveries and procedures.
Recognize and respond to changes or complications in maternal or fetal condition.
Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families.
Assist with newborn care and promote safe mother-baby bonding.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Follow infection control, patient safety, and obstetric care standards.
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, lactation specialists, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
Nursing degree from an accredited program.
Previous LDRP, Labor & Delivery, postpartum, or maternal-child health experience preferred.
Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
