LDRP RN
Position Summary
We are seeking a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care to women throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and the postpartum period. The RN will monitor maternal and fetal conditions, support safe deliveries, and provide care and education to mothers and newborns.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor maternal and fetal health throughout labor and delivery.
- Monitor vital signs, fetal heart rate, and uterine activity.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries as needed.
- Provide immediate postpartum and newborn care.
- Recognize and respond to maternal or fetal complications and emergencies.
- Support pain management and comfort measures during labor.
- Educate mothers and families on postpartum, newborn, and discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, neonatal staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow patient safety, infection control, and obstetric care standards.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
- Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- Previous LDRP, labor and delivery, postpartum, or obstetric nursing experience preferred.
- Strong maternal-fetal assessment, critical-thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
- BLS and appropriate obstetric/neonatal certifications as required.
Pay Rate
$79.52 - $84.40/hour
