Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
We are seeking a skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to women during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period while ensuring maternal and newborn safety.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor and delivery.
- Provide nursing care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery.
- Monitor fetal heart rate and recognize changes requiring intervention.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist physicians and the healthcare team during vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
- Respond to obstetric emergencies and changes in patient condition.
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, breastfeeding, and postpartum care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by state regulations.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- NRP certification required; AWHONN/EFM preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fetal monitoring, labor management, obstetric emergencies, and postpartum care.
- Previous Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$75.71 - $80.59/hour
