L&D Postpartum RN
We are seeking a skilled L&D Postpartum Registered Nurse to provide compassionate care to mothers and newborns during the postpartum period and support a safe recovery after delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor mothers and newborns following delivery.
Monitor vital signs, bleeding, pain, and recovery and report changes promptly.
Administer medications, treatments, and postpartum care as ordered.
Support breastfeeding, newborn care, and patient recovery education.
Educate patients and families on postpartum care, medications, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current RN license in the applicable state.
Current BLS certification; NRP preferred.
Previous Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, or Maternal-Child nursing experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate
$68.09 - $72.97/hour
