Laboratory Technician
We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform laboratory testing and support accurate, timely, and reliable diagnostic results.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, receive, label, and prepare patient specimens for testing.
- Perform routine laboratory tests according to established procedures.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Review test results for accuracy and report abnormal findings as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
- Follow quality control, safety, and infection control procedures.
- Assist with specimen processing and inventory management.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or relevant education in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
- Laboratory Technician certification or state licensure as required.
- Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures, safety standards, and quality control.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Pay Rate
$52.85 - $57.72/hour
