Labor & Delivery / Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery/Med-Surg RN to provide safe and comprehensive nursing care to patients in both obstetric and medical-surgical settings. The RN will monitor patients, administer medications and treatments, support labor and delivery care, and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Monitor maternal and fetal conditions, vital signs, fetal heart rate, and contractions.
  • Provide nursing care to medical-surgical patients based on their clinical needs.
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and treatments as ordered.
  • Assist with labor, delivery, postpartum care, and related procedures.
  • Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond to emergencies.
  • Provide wound care, pain management, mobility assistance, and other nursing interventions.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment, recovery, newborn care, and discharge needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and clinical care standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Labor & Delivery and Med-Surg/acute care experience preferred.
  • BLS certification; NRP, ACLS, or other specialty certifications as applicable.
  • Knowledge of maternal-newborn care, fetal monitoring, and medical-surgical nursing.
  • Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Compassionate, dependable, professional, and patient-focused.

Pay Rate
$72.66 - $77.54/hour
