Inpatient Rehabilitation Speech Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve communication and functional abilities.
Assess and treat swallowing and feeding difficulties as appropriate.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy and home-care strategies.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
Maintain accurate treatment records and document patient progress.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current SLP license as required by the state.
CCC-SLP certification preferred/required.
Current BLS certification preferred.
Previous inpatient rehabilitation or acute-care experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient-care skills.

Pay Rate
$68.09 - $72.97/hour
