Occupational Therapist – Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation (IP Rehab OT)
We are seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitative care to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting. The OT will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and promote functional independence.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and functional independence.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, and home programs.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of acute inpatient rehabilitation, ADLs, and therapeutic interventions.
- Previous Acute Care, Inpatient Rehabilitation, or Hospital OT experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$55.13 - $60.01/hour
