Inpatient Pharmacist (IP Pharmacist)
We are seeking a skilled Inpatient Pharmacist to provide safe and effective medication management and support quality patient care within an inpatient healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Dispense medications according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients for medication effectiveness and potential adverse reactions.
- Provide medication information and recommendations to physicians and nursing staff.
- Participate in medication reconciliation and clinical pharmacy activities.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
- Support medication safety and quality improvement initiatives.
- Follow pharmacy, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent pharmacy degree.
- Active Pharmacist license as required by state regulations.
- Current BLS certification preferred/required based on role requirements.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication safety, and clinical pharmacy practices.
- Previous inpatient/hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$75.71 - $80.59/hour
