Interventional/Cardiac/Vascular Angio Technologist
We are seeking a skilled Interventional/Cardiac/Vascular Angio Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional procedures involving the cardiovascular and vascular systems. The technologist will operate imaging equipment, assist physicians during procedures, maintain sterile technique, and ensure patient safety and high-quality imaging.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients, procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for interventional procedures.
- Operate angiography and fluoroscopy equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Assist physicians during cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures.
- Maintain sterile technique and follow radiation safety protocols.
- Monitor patients and report changes in condition to the clinical team.
- Assist with contrast administration and procedural medications as directed.
- Prepare and maintain catheters, wires, instruments, and other procedural supplies.
- Perform required equipment checks and report malfunctions promptly.
- Document procedures, images, and patient information accurately.
- Follow infection control, safety, and departmental standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Current certification/licensure as required for the role and state.
- ARRT certification or equivalent imaging credential preferred.
- Experience in Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, or Vascular Angiography preferred.
- Knowledge of angiography, fluoroscopy, sterile technique, and radiation safety.
- Strong patient care, communication, and technical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and team-focused.
Pay Rate
$71.90 - $76.78/hour
