Interventional Technologist
Position Summary
We are seeking an Interventional Technologist to assist physicians with image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The technologist will operate imaging equipment, prepare procedure rooms, and support patient safety throughout interventional procedures.
Responsibilities
Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures.
Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy systems.
Prepare procedure rooms, instruments, and medical supplies.
Position patients and ensure comfort and safety during procedures.
Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols.
Monitor imaging quality and ensure accurate image acquisition.
Assist with patient preparation and post-procedure care.
Maintain equipment and ensure proper functionality.
Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
Associate degree or equivalent qualification in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
Current state license as required.
ARRT certification or relevant specialty certification preferred or required as applicable.
Experience in interventional radiology or a related imaging specialty preferred.
Knowledge of imaging equipment, radiation safety, and sterile techniques.
Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate
$86.02 - $90.89/hour
