Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)
We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) to assist with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.
Responsibilities:
- Assist radiologists and physicians with interventional procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures.
- Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment.
- Prepare sterile instruments, supplies, and procedural equipment.
- Assist with contrast administration and monitor patients during procedures.
- Maintain sterile technique and follow radiation safety protocols.
- Perform equipment checks and ensure proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Active Radiologic Technologist license as required by state regulations.
- Current ARRT (R) certification required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of fluoroscopy, anatomy, radiation safety, and sterile technique.
- Previous Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, or procedural imaging experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$84.86 - $89.74/hour
