Job Title: Imaging – Ultrasonographer
Position Summary
We are seeking an Ultrasonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality images for medical evaluation. The technologist will prepare patients, operate ultrasound equipment, and work closely with physicians and radiologists.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations as ordered.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Operate ultrasound equipment and obtain quality images.
- Explain procedures and provide appropriate patient support.
- Evaluate images for quality and completeness.
- Assist physicians and radiologists with ultrasound procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient and examination records.
- Follow infection control and patient safety standards.
- Perform routine equipment checks and maintain a safe imaging environment.
- Communicate findings and concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- ARDMS certification preferred or required based on facility requirements.
- Previous ultrasound experience preferred.
- Knowledge of ultrasound procedures, anatomy, and patient care.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Pay Rate
$60.47 - $65.35/hour
