Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused CT Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) examinations that support accurate diagnosis and treatment. The CT Technologist will operate CT imaging equipment, prepare patients for procedures, administer contrast media when appropriate, and ensure patient safety while delivering exceptional imaging services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients for CT procedures.
  • Operate CT imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Administer contrast media as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Evaluate image quality and repeat scans when necessary to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and PACS.
  • Perform routine quality control and report equipment issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Follow radiation safety guidelines, infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, and facility policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Active ARRT (R) certification required.
  • ARRT (CT) certification preferred or required based on facility requirements.
  • Active state radiologic technologist license if required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent CT imaging experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging, cross-sectional anatomy, radiation safety, and imaging protocols.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with PACS and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.

Pay Rate
$75.71 - $80.59/hour
