Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide specialized nursing care for critically ill patients with complex medical, surgical, and trauma-related conditions. The ICU RN will assess patient status, administer advanced treatments, manage life-support equipment, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional critical care.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans for critically ill patients
  • Monitor hemodynamic status, cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and respiratory function
  • Administer medications, IV infusions, vasoactive drips, blood products, and other prescribed treatments
  • Manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation and other advanced life-support therapies
  • Operate and monitor critical care equipment, including ventilators, infusion pumps, and invasive monitoring devices
  • Respond to medical emergencies, code blue events, and rapid response situations
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Current ACLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or Critical Care nursing experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and critical care nursing
  • Excellent communication, critical-thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred

Pay Rate
$61.23 - $66.11/hour
