Position Summary:

We are seeking a courteous and dependable Hospital Valet Driver to provide safe and professional vehicle assistance to patients, visitors, and staff. The Valet Driver will greet guests, park and retrieve vehicles efficiently, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a safe and welcoming hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Safely park and retrieve vehicles from designated parking areas.
  • Assist guests with entering and exiting vehicles when needed.
  • Provide clear directions and information regarding hospital entrances and facilities.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle claim tickets and keys.
  • Inspect vehicles for existing damage before parking when required.
  • Follow hospital traffic, parking, safety, and security procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional valet area.
  • Communicate professionally with patients, visitors, hospital staff, and security personnel.
  • Assist individuals with mobility challenges as appropriate and within safety guidelines.
  • Report vehicle incidents, safety concerns, or unusual activity promptly.
  • Protect patient and visitor privacy and maintain confidentiality.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous valet, driving, hospitality, customer service, or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Safe and responsible driving skills.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required for the position.
  • Professional appearance and courteous demeanor.
  • Ability to remain calm and helpful in a busy hospital environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous hospital or healthcare facility experience.
  • Experience assisting elderly, disabled, or mobility-impaired patients.
  • Familiarity with hospital entrances, parking areas, and traffic procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple vehicles efficiently.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and respectful customer service.

Pay Rate
$17.00 - $20.38/hour
