Hospice Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice RN to provide comfort-focused nursing care to patients with life-limiting illnesses. The RN will manage symptoms, administer medications, support patients and families, and collaborate with the hospice care team to promote dignity and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and develop individualized hospice care plans.
- Provide pain and symptom management and administer medications and treatments.
- Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to the care team.
- Provide wound care, repositioning, hygiene, and other comfort measures.
- Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers regarding care needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary hospice team members.
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, privacy, and end-of-life care practices.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Hospice, palliative care, oncology, or end-of-life care experience preferred.
- Knowledge of pain management, symptom control, and comfort-focused care.
- Strong clinical judgment, assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, professional, and patient-focused.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the care team.
Pay Rate
$55.89 - $60.77/hour
