Hospice Inpatient Unit Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a compassionate Hospice Inpatient Unit RN to provide comfort-focused care to patients with advanced or terminal illnesses.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients' physical, emotional, and comfort needs.
- Provide pain and symptom management according to the care plan.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor changes in patient condition and communicate with the hospice team.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
- Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary hospice team.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Provide compassionate end-of-life and comfort care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
- Active RN license as required by state regulations.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Previous hospice, palliative care, oncology, or acute care experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pain management and end-of-life care.
- Excellent communication, compassion, and clinical assessment skills.
Pay Rate
$52.85 - $57.72/hour
