HIM Director
We are seeking an experienced HIM Director to oversee health information management operations and ensure the accuracy, security, accessibility, and regulatory compliance of patient health information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily Health Information Management operations.
- Ensure accuracy, security, and confidentiality of patient records.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations.
- Supervise and support HIM staff and departmental activities.
- Monitor medical records, documentation, coding, and data quality.
- Coordinate audits, quality improvement, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or related field.
- RHIA certification preferred/required.
- Previous HIM leadership or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, medical records, and health information systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Pay Rate
$95,000.00 - $130,000.00/year
