PACU RN

We are seeking a skilled PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical and procedural anesthesia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor patients during the immediate post-anesthesia recovery period.

  • Monitor vital signs, airway, respiratory status, cardiac rhythm, pain, and level of consciousness.

  • Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as ordered.

  • Recognize and respond promptly to post-anesthesia complications and emergencies.

  • Provide pain management, patient education, and discharge instructions.

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with anesthesia, surgical, and healthcare teams.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

  • Current RN license as required by the state.

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.

  • Previous PACU, ICU, OR, or critical-care nursing experience preferred.

  • Strong assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and patient-care skills.

Pay Rate
$55.13 - $60.01/hour
