Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform diagnostic computed tomography examinations using advanced imaging equipment. The technologist will ensure accurate patient positioning, produce high-quality images, administer contrast when appropriate, and maintain patient safety throughout each procedure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and specialized CT examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Verify patient identity, clinical history, allergies, and examination requirements.
  • Prepare and position patients correctly for CT procedures.
  • Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Administer contrast media according to applicable protocols and scope of practice.
  • Monitor patients during examinations and respond appropriately to adverse reactions.
  • Evaluate images for quality, positioning, and diagnostic value.
  • Perform appropriate image reconstruction and post-processing.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and PACS.
  • Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, HIPAA, and patient safety standards.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography required.
  • ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred/required based on position requirements.
  • Active state radiologic license where applicable.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent CT experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of CT protocols, anatomy, radiation safety, positioning, and contrast administration.
  • Excellent communication, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills.
  • Experience with EMR and PACS systems preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ARRT(CT) certification preferred.
  • Experience with emergency, trauma, stroke, cardiac, and inpatient CT imaging.
  • Experience with contrast-enhanced and high-acuity CT examinations.
  • Strong knowledge of CT image quality and post-processing techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced imaging environment.
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Pay Rate
$75.71 - $80.59/hour
