Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse to provide safe and timely care to patients presenting with acute illnesses, injuries, and emergencies. The RN will perform rapid assessments, prioritize care, administer treatments, monitor patient conditions, and work closely with physicians and the emergency care team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform triage and rapid assessments based on patient acuity.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and emergency treatments.
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, oxygenation, and changes in patient condition.
- Establish IV access and assist with emergency procedures.
- Respond to cardiac arrests, trauma, stroke alerts, and other emergencies.
- Assist physicians with procedures, airway management, wound care, and resuscitation.
- Obtain ECGs, collect specimens, and monitor diagnostic results.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow infection prevention, HIPAA, patient safety, and emergency care protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum 1 year of recent ER/ED nursing experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of emergency nursing, triage, critical care, and medication administration.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
- Experience with EMR systems preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN preferred.
- TNCC certification preferred.
- PALS certification preferred based on patient population.
- CEN certification preferred.
- Experience with trauma, cardiac, stroke, and critical emergencies.

Pay Rate
$52.85 - $57.72/hour
