Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
Position Summary
We are seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide timely and comprehensive care to patients with urgent and emergency medical needs. The RN will assess patients, prioritize care, administer treatments, and respond to rapidly changing conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform rapid assessments and triage patients based on clinical needs.
- Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments as ordered.
- Assist with emergency procedures and resuscitation efforts.
- Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition.
- Provide wound care and other treatments within scope of practice.
- Educate and support patients and families during emergency care.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
- Maintain infection control and patient safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary emergency care team.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Emergency Department or acute care experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
- BLS and ACLS certification preferred/required as applicable.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency environment.
Pay Rate
$64.28 - $69.16/hour
