Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse
Position Summary
We are seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide timely and compassionate care to patients with urgent and emergency medical needs. The RN will assess patients, provide treatments, monitor conditions, and assist with emergency procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients based on their condition.
- Monitor vital signs and changes in patient status.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered.
- Assist with emergency procedures and interventions.
- Provide wound care and other treatments as needed.
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition.
- Educate and support patients and families.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Follow infection control and patient safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Previous emergency room or critical care experience preferred.
- Knowledge of emergency nursing procedures and patient care.
- BLS and ACLS certification preferred or required based on facility requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
