Electroencephalogram Technician (EEG Tech)
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented EEG Technician to perform diagnostic neurodiagnostic procedures that assist in the evaluation of neurological conditions. The EEG Tech will operate specialized equipment, monitor patient responses, and ensure accurate and high-quality test results.
Responsibilities:
• Perform electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures and related neurodiagnostic tests.
• Prepare patients and explain testing procedures.
• Apply electrodes and operate EEG equipment to obtain accurate recordings.
• Monitor patients during procedures and observe for any changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation of test results and patient information.
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Follow safety, infection control, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
• Completion of an accredited EEG or Neurodiagnostic Technology program preferred.
• Active and unrestricted EEG Technician certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of neurodiagnostic procedures and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Previous EEG or neurodiagnostic experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$60.47 - $65.35/hour
