Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting. The ED RN will assess, stabilize, and treat patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening conditions while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure timely and effective care.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care using triage principles
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans for emergency patients
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor patient conditions and promptly recognize and respond to changes in clinical status
  • Assist with emergency procedures, trauma care, resuscitations, and code situations
  • Operate and monitor cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and other emergency equipment
  • Collect specimens and coordinate diagnostic testing as needed
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development

Required Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • TNCC certification preferred or required based on assignment
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of emergency nursing, trauma care, cardiac monitoring, and critical care principles
  • Excellent assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
