Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to provide safe, timely, and compassionate care to patients with urgent and emergency medical conditions. The RN will perform rapid assessments, prioritize care, administer treatments, and respond effectively to emergencies.
Responsibilities:
- Perform rapid patient assessments and triage based on acuity.
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
- Assist with emergency procedures, trauma care, and resuscitation.
- Start IVs, collect specimens, and perform other nursing procedures.
- Recognize changes in patient condition and respond promptly.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with procedures.
- Provide patient and family education and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and nursing standards.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted RN license.
- Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- Previous Emergency Department or acute care experience preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- PALS, TNCC, or other emergency nursing certifications preferred.
- Strong emergency assessment, clinical judgment, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused.
Pay Rate
$72,800.00 - $119,995.00/year
