ED RN – Emergency Department Registered Nurse
Position Summary
Provide rapid, compassionate nursing care to patients with a wide range of urgent and emergent medical conditions. Perform timely assessments, interventions, and ongoing monitoring while collaborating with the emergency care team.
Responsibilities
- Perform rapid assessments, triage, and ongoing patient monitoring.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, oxygenation, and patient status.
- Respond quickly to emergencies, deterioration, and critical conditions.
- Assist with emergency procedures, resuscitation, and stabilization.
- Provide wound care, pain management, and other bedside treatments.
- Educate patients and families regarding care and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow safety and infection-control practices.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Emergency Department or acute-care nursing experience preferred.
- BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred/required as applicable.
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency environment
Pay Rate
$75.71 - $80.59/hour
