Echosonographer (Cardiac Sonographer)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Echosonographer to perform diagnostic echocardiographic examinations that assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of cardiovascular conditions. The Echosonographer will operate ultrasound equipment, ensure patient comfort, and collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality cardiac imaging.

Responsibilities:
• Perform transthoracic and, when qualified, transesophageal echocardiograms as ordered.
• Prepare and position patients for echocardiography procedures.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality cardiac images.
• Evaluate image quality and document preliminary technical findings for physician review.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any concerns.
• Maintain accurate documentation of imaging studies and patient records.
• Follow infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance standards.

Qualifications:
• Completion of an accredited Cardiac Sonography or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Active and unrestricted certification or license, as required by state regulations.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, echocardiography techniques, and ultrasound equipment.
• Previous echocardiography or cardiac imaging experience preferred.

Pay Rate
$60.47 - $65.35/hour
