Echocardiography Technologist (Echo Technologist)
We are seeking a skilled Echocardiography Technologist to perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic results.
Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiography examinations as ordered by physicians.
- Prepare and position patients for cardiac ultrasound procedures.
- Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment.
- Obtain and document high-quality cardiac images and measurements for physician interpretation.
- Monitor patients during procedures and report any abnormalities.
- Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to support patient care.
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and imaging protocols.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program.
- Active state license/certification as required by state regulations.
- ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) certification required/preferred.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, echocardiography procedures, and ultrasound imaging.
- Previous echocardiography or cardiac imaging experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$68.09 - $72.97/hour
