Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead and oversee rehabilitation services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. The DOR will manage therapy staff, coordinate rehabilitation programs, monitor clinical outcomes, and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the rehabilitation department, including Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy services
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate rehabilitation staff while promoting professional development
Coordinate patient evaluations, treatment plans, and interdisciplinary care planning
Monitor patient progress, clinical outcomes, and department performance metrics
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards, as well as organizational policies
Manage staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and departmental resources efficiently
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation and support quality improvement initiatives
Promote patient safety, regulatory compliance, and evidence-based rehabilitation practices
Foster a culture of teamwork, excellence, and patient-centered care

Required Qualifications:

Active license as a Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of practice
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in the applicable rehabilitation discipline from an accredited program
Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of rehabilitation regulations, quality improvement, and reimbursement practices

Pay Rate
$64.28 - $69.16/hour
