Registered Nurse – Dialysis (Dialysis RN)
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide specialized care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. The Dialysis RN will assess patient conditions, administer dialysis treatments, monitor patient responses, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective care.
Responsibilities:
• Assess patients before, during, and after dialysis treatments.
• Administer hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment, addressing complications promptly.
• Assess and care for vascular access sites, including AV fistulas, grafts, and central venous catheters.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products as ordered.
• Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, disease management, and home care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatments.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dialysis procedures, nephrology care, and patient assessment.
• Excellent communication, critical-thinking, and organizational skills.
• Previous dialysis or nephrology nursing experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
