Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic and computed tomography examinations. The technologist will safely operate imaging equipment, position patients, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized X-ray and CT examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Verify patient identity, clinical history, and examination requirements.
- Properly position and prepare patients for imaging procedures.
- Operate CT scanners, X-ray equipment, and related imaging systems safely and efficiently.
- Administer contrast media as permitted by scope of practice and facility protocols.
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to adverse reactions or emergencies.
- Evaluate images for quality, positioning, and diagnostic value; repeat images when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and PACS.
- Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, HIPAA, and patient safety standards.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues promptly.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT certification in Radiography required.
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred/required based on position requirements.
- Active state radiologic license where applicable.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of recent X-ray and/or CT experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, positioning, radiation safety, CT protocols, and contrast administration.
- Excellent communication, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills.
- Experience with EMR and PACS systems preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ARRT(CT) certification preferred.
- Experience with emergency, trauma, stroke, cardiac, and inpatient imaging.
- Experience with contrast-enhanced CT examinations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to diagnostic image quality.

Pay Rate
$60.47 - $65.35/hour
