Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused CT/X-Ray Technologist to perform both Computed Tomography (CT) and diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures. The technologist will produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to radiation safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform CT scans and diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and imaging protocols.
Prepare, position, and educate patients for imaging procedures.
Operate CT scanners and digital radiography equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Administer contrast media as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
Evaluate image quality and repeat studies when necessary to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies.
Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and PACS.
Perform routine equipment quality control and report equipment issues promptly.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Follow radiation safety guidelines, infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, and facility policies.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Active ARRT (R) certification required.
ARRT (CT) certification preferred or required based on facility requirements.
Active state radiologic technologist license if required.
Current BLS certification required.
Minimum 1 year of recent CT and diagnostic radiology experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of CT imaging, diagnostic radiography, radiation safety, anatomy, and imaging protocols.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with PACS and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.

Pay Rate
$79.52 - $84.40/hour
