CT/X-Ray/POC Technologist
Position Summary
Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures while supporting point-of-care (POC) testing as assigned. Ensure accurate results, patient safety, and quality care while following imaging and laboratory standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and X-ray examinations according to established protocols.
- Position patients correctly and operate imaging equipment safely.
- Review patient history and screening information before procedures.
- Administer contrast when authorized and monitor patients for reactions.
- Perform and document point-of-care testing according to established procedures.
- Follow radiation safety, infection-control, and patient-safety standards.
- Verify image quality and repeat studies when necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT certification in Radiography; CT certification preferred/required as applicable.
- Current state radiologic technologist license, as applicable.
- POC testing certification or training preferred.
- Previous CT, X-ray, and/or POC testing experience preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong technical, organizational, and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate
$70,720.00 - $118,560.00/year
