Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT/Radiologic Technologist (CT/RAD Tech) to perform computed tomography (CT) scans and diagnostic radiographic examinations. The technologist will produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans and general diagnostic X-ray procedures according to physician orders and imaging protocols
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
  • Operate CT and radiographic equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Administer contrast media as appropriate and monitor patients for adverse reactions
  • Evaluate image quality and repeat studies when necessary to ensure diagnostic accuracy
  • Maintain accurate patient records in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), PACS, and RIS
  • Follow radiation safety practices and adhere to ALARA principles
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report malfunctions promptly
  • Maintain a clean and safe imaging environment while following infection prevention protocols
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Active ARRT (R) certification required
  • ARRT (CT) certification preferred or CT registry eligible, depending on facility requirements
  • Active state Radiologic Technologist license where required
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent CT and Radiology experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging, diagnostic radiography, anatomy, radiation safety, and contrast administration
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
  • Experience with PACS, RIS, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment

$75,275.20 - $105,102.40/year
