CT Technologist
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans according to physician orders and protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for examinations.
- Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently.
- Administer contrast media as required and monitor patients for reactions.
- Verify patient information and imaging requirements.
- Ensure image quality and repeat scans when necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Follow radiation safety and infection-control procedures.
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/Medical Imaging program.
- Valid radiologic/CT technologist license or certification as required.
- Previous CT experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification preferred.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and CT protocols.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong patient-care and communication skills.
- Proficiency in CT equipment and imaging protocols.
- Knowledge of contrast administration and emergency procedures.
- Attention to detail and image-quality assessment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Pay Rate
$78.17 - $83.05/hour
