Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform computed tomography examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images. The CT Tech will prepare and position patients, operate CT equipment, administer contrast as permitted, and collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to support accurate diagnosis and safe patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Verify patient identity, clinical history, and appropriate examination requirements.
  • Prepare and position patients correctly for CT procedures.
  • Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Administer oral and IV contrast media as permitted by scope of practice and facility protocols.
  • Monitor patients during examinations and respond appropriately to adverse reactions or emergencies.
  • Evaluate images for quality and completeness and repeat sequences when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and PACS.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues promptly.
  • Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, HIPAA, patient safety, and departmental protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography required.
  • ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred or required based on facility requirements.
  • Active state radiologic license, if required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of CT protocols, anatomy, radiation safety, contrast administration, and patient positioning.
  • Excellent communication, critical-thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with EMR and PACS systems preferred.

Pay Rate
$75.71 - $80.59/hour
