Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist / X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging examinations using computed tomography and radiography equipment. The technologist will ensure high-quality images, maintain patient safety, assist with contrast administration, and collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans and diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare, position, and educate patients before imaging procedures
- Operate and adjust CT and X-ray equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Administer contrast media as appropriate and monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Evaluate image quality and repeat examinations when necessary to ensure diagnostic accuracy
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS
- Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and patient care standards
- Assist with emergency, trauma, and portable imaging procedures as required
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues promptly
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
- ARRT CT certification or CT registry eligibility preferred/required based on the position
- Active state radiologic technologist license, if required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of recent X-ray and/or CT experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, cross-sectional anatomy, and radiation safety
- Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced imaging environment
Pay Rate
$75.71 - $80.59/hour
