Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist / X-Ray Technologist to perform Computed Tomography (CT) and diagnostic radiography procedures that support the accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients. The technologist will produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensure patient safety, administer contrast media when appropriate, and collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans and diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients while ensuring safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
  • Administer IV contrast media as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Operate CT scanners, digital radiography, and portable X-ray equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Evaluate image quality and ensure studies are complete before submission for radiologist interpretation.
  • Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain compliance with ALARA principles.
  • Perform routine equipment quality control and report equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), RIS, and PACS.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Active Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice, where required.
  • Current ARRT (R) certification required.
  • Current ARRT (CT) certification required or CT registry eligible based on facility requirements.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent CT and diagnostic radiology experience preferred.
  • Experience administering IV contrast and performing contrast-enhanced CT examinations.
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging, radiographic anatomy, patient positioning, radiation safety, and imaging protocols.
  • Experience with PACS, RIS, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.

Pay Rate
$75.71 - $80.59/hour
