CT Technologist / Radiologic Technologist
Perform CT and diagnostic X-ray examinations to produce high-quality images that support accurate diagnosis and treatment. The Technologist will operate imaging equipment, position patients safely, follow imaging protocols, and provide compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and X-ray examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging procedures.
- Operate CT and radiographic equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Administer contrast media as authorized and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Review patient history and clinical information before examinations.
- Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Follow radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety standards.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues.
- Maintain accurate patient and examination documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography; CT certification preferred/required as applicable.
- State radiologic technologist license as required.
- Previous CT and X-ray experience preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced imaging environment.
Pay Rate
$60.47 - $65.35/hour
