CT Technologist / Radiologic Technologist

Perform CT and diagnostic X-ray examinations to produce high-quality images that support accurate diagnosis and treatment. The Technologist will operate imaging equipment, position patients safely, follow imaging protocols, and provide compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT and X-ray examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging procedures.
  • Operate CT and radiographic equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Administer contrast media as authorized and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Review patient history and clinical information before examinations.
  • Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Follow radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety standards.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate patient and examination documentation.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography; CT certification preferred/required as applicable.
  • State radiologic technologist license as required.
  • Previous CT and X-ray experience preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced imaging environment.

Pay Rate
$60.47 - $65.35/hour
