CT Technologist (Dual)
Position Summary
We are seeking a CT Technologist (Dual) to perform high-quality computed tomography examinations and support diagnostic imaging services. The technologist will operate CT equipment, prepare patients, obtain diagnostic images, and follow established safety and imaging standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and protocols.
- Prepare and position patients safely for imaging procedures.
- Operate and adjust CT equipment to obtain quality diagnostic images.
- Administer contrast media as permitted and monitor patients for reactions.
- Review images for quality, completeness, and proper positioning.
- Maintain accurate patient and examination documentation.
- Follow radiation safety and dose-reduction practices.
- Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed.
- Communicate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and departmental standards.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or related program.
- Current ARRT certification/registration in applicable imaging modalities.
- State license as required.
- CT certification or relevant CT experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CT procedures, anatomy, contrast administration, and radiation safety.
- Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate
$71.90 - $76.78/hour
