Radiology - CT (Computed Tomography)
Certification Requirements: ARRT Certified, BLS Certified
At least 1 year experience
Prior travel preferred, but not required
3 scanners total (Siemens Drive, Siemen Force, Cannon Prime SP)
Will they have to float/cover any other areas? Only working at the Boise main campus
Common types of imaging/studies performed: CT scans of all body parts, pediatrics, Cardiac scans, Procedures (biopsies, drains, ablations)
Experience or 'Must have' skills Siemens experience, preferred travel experience, good patient care skills, procedural experience.
Average # of scans/studies per day 3-40 per 10hr shift
EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use EPIC and McKesson experience preferred not required.
Department Specific Equipment (Client, Phillips, Siemens) Siemens and Cannon (Cannon experience not required)
Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech on each shift: Yes there is always a lead tech and supervisor during weekday day time hours
Do they use RRAs (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No, we do have a CNA as a department assistant.
Radiologist in-house? Yes
Do they have to start IVs? (if applicable to the department) Yes
Shifts & Scheduling: Shifts are assigned, no blocked requests, 10 or 12 hr shifts. Current need is fri, sat, sun 7a-730p and fri,sat,sun 10a-830p with mon 8a-630p
Weekend Requirements yes, set shifts per schedule needed
Holiday Requirements required as needed unless agreed upon
Call or Standby requirement? Response time? call available if agreed on
Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided? Blue scrubs provided
Pay Rate
$74.41 - $79.28/hour
