Job Title: CT Technologist
Position Summary
We are seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography scans and produce high-quality diagnostic images. The technologist will prepare patients, operate CT equipment, follow safety procedures, and work with radiologists and the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans according to physician orders.
- Prepare and position patients for examinations.
- Operate CT equipment and obtain quality images.
- Administer contrast media as required.
- Monitor patients during procedures and report concerns.
- Follow radiation safety and infection control procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient and examination records.
- Perform routine equipment checks.
- Maintain a safe and organized imaging environment.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT program.
- ARRT certification preferred or required based on facility requirements.
- Previous CT experience preferred.
- Knowledge of CT procedures, radiation safety, and patient care.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Rate
$78.00 - $82.88/hour
