Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform diagnostic computed tomography examinations and produce high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. The technologist will safely operate CT equipment, position patients, administer contrast when appropriate, and maintain radiation and patient safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and specialized CT examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
Verify patient identity, clinical history, allergies, and examination requirements.
Screen patients for contraindications and prepare them for CT procedures.
Position patients accurately and operate CT equipment safely and efficiently.
Select appropriate scanning parameters to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Administer contrast media according to applicable protocols and scope of practice.
Monitor patients during examinations and respond appropriately to adverse reactions.
Evaluate images for positioning, quality, and diagnostic value.
Perform image reconstruction and post-processing as required.
Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and PACS.
Follow radiation safety, ALARA, infection prevention, HIPAA, and patient safety standards.
Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues promptly.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT certification in Radiography required.
ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required/preferred based on position requirements.
Active state Radiologic Technologist license where applicable.
Current BLS certification required.
Minimum 1 year of recent CT experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of CT protocols, anatomy, positioning, radiation safety, and contrast administration.
Excellent communication, technical, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills.
Experience with EMR and PACS systems preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certification.
Experience with emergency, trauma, stroke, cardiac, inpatient, and outpatient CT imaging.
Experience with contrast-enhanced CT and CT angiography.
Knowledge of advanced CT protocols and image post-processing.
Strong attention to image quality and radiation safety.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced imaging environment.

Pay Rate
$79.52 - $84.40/hour
