Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to perform computed tomography imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. The CT Technologist will operate advanced imaging equipment, prepare and position patients, administer contrast media when required, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety and radiation protection standards.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and department protocols
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for CT examinations while ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Administer contrast media as permitted by scope of practice and facility guidelines
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to adverse reactions or changes in condition
• Apply radiation safety principles and follow ALARA guidelines to minimize patient exposure
• Review images for quality, accuracy, and completeness prior to radiologist interpretation
• Maintain accurate patient records, procedure documentation, and imaging data in PACS/EMR systems
• Perform quality assurance checks and assist with equipment troubleshooting as needed
• Follow infection control, patient safety, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Provide clear communication and compassionate care to patients throughout imaging procedures


Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Active Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice
• ARRT certification required (CT certification preferred or required based on facility)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent CT Technologist experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques, anatomy, and radiation safety practices
• Experience with contrast administration and emergency response procedures preferred
• Proficiency with PACS and electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
• Excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Pay Rate
$78.17 - $83.05/hour
