Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA)
We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) to assist surgeons during surgical procedures and support safe, efficient patient care in the operating room.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons with surgical procedures and maintain the sterile field.
- Provide surgical exposure, tissue handling, and hemostasis support.
- Prepare and handle surgical instruments and supplies.
- Assist with patient positioning and surgical site preparation.
- Anticipate the surgeon’s needs during procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow surgical safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Surgical First Assistant program.
- Current CSFA certification required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and sterile technique.
- Previous operating room/surgical experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$52.85 - $57.72/hour
