Job Title: Critical Care Float Pool RN
Position Summary
We are seeking a Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care across critical care units based on staffing needs. The RN will care for high-acuity patients, adapt to different clinical settings, and support safe patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to critically ill patients across assigned units.
- Assess patients and monitor vital signs and changes in condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments.
- Monitor and manage critical care equipment.
- Assist with procedures and emergency interventions.
- Float between critical care units based on patient and staffing needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Communicate patient changes to physicians and the healthcare team.
- Follow infection control and patient safety standards.
- Adapt quickly to different units, teams, and patient populations.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Critical care or ICU experience required or preferred.
- Strong knowledge of critical care nursing and emergency procedures.
- BLS and ACLS certification preferred or required based on facility requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in high-acuity and changing environments.
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
Pay Rate
$71.90 - $76.78/hour
