Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Long-Term Care (LTC)
We are seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitative care to residents in a long-term care setting under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The COTA will assist in implementing treatment plans to improve residents' independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Assist residents with therapeutic activities to improve daily living and functional skills.
- Monitor resident progress and report changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and safety techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient progress.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident care.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and patient care.
- Previous Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or Rehabilitation experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$41.41 - $46.29/hour
