Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) – Variable
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to perform laboratory testing and support accurate diagnosis and patient care across varying shifts or assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing.
- Process and analyze patient specimens accurately.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Perform quality control and ensure accuracy of test results.
- Identify and report abnormal or critical laboratory findings.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
- Follow laboratory safety, infection control, and regulatory procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- ASCP/MLS or equivalent certification preferred/required.
- Active state laboratory license, if required.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory testing, quality control, and specimen processing.
- Ability to work variable shifts and adapt to changing laboratory needs.
- Previous hospital or clinical laboratory experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
